Thank you for stopping by to get to know me a bit. I am a follower of Christ, loving wife to my best friend and a passionate mother of two little ladies. I consider myself a lifestyle photographer with a focus on newborn & family. However, I've never been able to restrict myself to just that. In my daily life I strive to find beauty in the unnoticed. I believe the best photos are made in the in-between moments and I believe pictures are poetic when you are your true self. I am passionate about creating memories. Memories for you and your family to cherish for the rest of your life. I am not a pose, smile at the camera photographer. I create moments that are honest and raw. I love shooting in golden and natural light. In our session I will strive to make you feel comfortable while I capture connection, emotion and movement between you and your loved ones. 

 

Most days you will find me at home homeschooling, crafting and playing with my girls, reading children's books, exploring outdoors with my family and covered in never ending loads of laundry. I love Jesus. I lean on Him in this journey called Motherhood. I love to snuggle on the sofa with my husband in the evenings with a glass of wine. I love traveling and the outdoors, the sound of my children laughing, cooking, going on family walks and getting up early before the house is awake. 

 

My love for photography started as a little girl when my parents bought me my first film camera. Years later my husband bought me my first digital camera as a wedding present and that's when I really began exploring photography as a passion. I loved traveling with my husband and documenting our journeys together. After my first daughter I fell deeply in love with documenting her life. I wanted to remember it all. The details, the joys, the trials, the adventures, every season of her life. I am thankful the Lord has given me this gift as an artist to share with my own family and others. I want you to see the beauty of this season God has placed you in. I look forward to telling your story!
